Sr Product Manager, Assisted Autonomy

What the role actually is

Kodiak is hiring a senior product manager for Assisted Autonomy, the part of its autonomous trucking system where a human can remotely control a truck in low-speed, clearly defined scenarios. The role owns the product direction for that human-in-the-loop layer.

This is an IC product role that blends software, hardware, field operations, customer feedback, safety, and UX/design judgment. The listing is explicit that the work includes highly usable interfaces for teleoperations and non-technical users.

What you would work on

• Formulate and evolve the Assisted Autonomy roadmap across near-term deployment and long-term scale
• Define requirements with engineering, operations, safety, program, and customer-facing teams
• Improve software interfaces for dispatch, telestation capabilities, and related hardware integrations
• Use operational data and KPIs to prioritize failure modes and safety improvements
• Visit deployment locations to gather customer and field feedback
