Staff Product Manager, Applied AI

Own the physical AI model roadmap for Apollo, from foundation-model integration to release sequencing.

What the role actually is

Apptronik is hiring a staff product manager for Applied AI on Apollo. The role owns the physical AI model roadmap, including product vision, milestones, release cycles, and how foundation models are integrated, adapted, and fine-tuned into the autonomy stack.

This is a technical product role where the product is not just a user-facing app. It is the model capability stack that determines what the humanoid can do reliably enough to ship.

What you would work on

  • Own roadmap and release planning for Apollo's physical AI model stack
  • Sequence foundation-model integration, adaptation, and fine-tuning work
  • Balance capability velocity against reliability, safety, and product readiness
  • Partner with engineering, AI, product, and deployment teams on embodied autonomy priorities

What they are asking for

  • Staff-level product management experience with AI, robotics, autonomy, or complex technical platforms
  • Ability to turn technical model work into product milestones and release decisions
  • Comfort working across research, engineering, safety, commercialization, and customer needs
  • Understanding of foundation models, embodied AI, or robotics autonomy workflows

Why this one is worth a look

As humanoid companies move from demos to product, model capability becomes a roadmap discipline. This role is interesting because it asks a product manager to decide how applied AI work graduates into a robot that customers can actually use.
