Operations Senior Technical Program Manager

Represent operations inside Apptronik's engineering programs as Apollo moves from product development into production.

What the role actually is

Apptronik is hiring a senior technical program manager for operations in Austin. The role connects engineering, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, service, finance, and procurement as Apollo moves through prototype and production builds.

This is a product-adjacent program role for humanoid scale-up. The person would make sure engineering decisions account for manufacturability, sourcing, serviceability, quality, and build readiness before they become production problems.

What you would work on

  • Represent operations inside cross-functional engineering programs from concept through launch
  • Lead build readiness across prototype, EVT, DVT, PVT, and production phases
  • Coordinate manufacturing, supply chain, quality, test, service, IT, facilities, and procurement workstreams
  • Drive early resolution of manufacturability, sourcing, serviceability, and quality risks

What they are asking for

  • Senior technical program management experience in hardware, robotics, manufacturing, or operations-heavy products
  • Ability to work across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, finance, and service teams
  • Experience turning product-development ambiguity into launch plans, readiness criteria, and ownership
  • Comfort with an onsite Austin role tied closely to Apptronik's humanoid production work

Why this one is worth a look

Humanoid robotics has a very real product gap between a working prototype and a machine that can be built, serviced, and supported repeatedly. This role sits in that gap, so it is a good fit for someone who likes the operational reality of shipping robots more than pure roadmap work.
