Product Manager

Own customer-facing product decisions for Ambi's warehouse robotic sorting systems.

What the role actually is

Ambi Robotics is hiring a product manager in Berkeley for its warehouse automation systems. The role sits between customers, Sales, Engineering, support, and product operations, turning deployment needs into requirements, layouts, pricing decisions, documentation, and performance reporting.

This is a hands-on product role for robotic sortation: the person owns both new deployment scoping and sustaining product work once systems are running in customer environments.

What you would work on

  • Define system layouts, statements of work, product requirements, and pricing inputs for customer deployments
  • Partner with engineering on feature feasibility, mechanical modifications, software updates, and integration plans
  • Build customer-facing product materials, spec sheets, integration guides, operator manuals, dashboards, and reports
  • Prioritize support-ticket themes, customer feature requests, WMS integrations, and system performance improvements

What they are asking for

  • Product management experience with hardware, warehouse robotics, or similarly technical automation products
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into clear product requirements and practical system changes
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for work across sales, engineering, and customer teams
  • Comfort using data tools such as Grafana or Python to track system performance and answer customer questions

Why this one is worth a look

Warehouse robotics product work gets interesting when the product manager has to live with the physical consequences of a roadmap decision. Ambi's role is close to customer deployments, warehouse workflows, and sustaining improvements, which makes it a good fit for someone who wants robotics product management beyond feature tickets.
