Senior Product Manager, Fleet and Internal Tools

Shape Skydio's fleet management and internal tooling for drone operations, service, repair, and support workflows.

What the role actually is

Skydio is hiring a senior product manager for Fleet Management and Internal Tools on the Skydio Cloud platform. The role spans customer-facing fleet software and the internal systems that support drone operations, service, repair, troubleshooting, and customer experience.

The job is about making autonomous drone fleets easier to operate at scale. That means turning telemetry, support data, fragmented service workflows, and field feedback into a coherent product roadmap.

What you would work on

  • Own fleet management and internal tooling roadmaps across device health, inventory, administration, support, service, and repair
  • Define dock service workflows from issue detection and remote diagnosis through dispatch, parts, verification, and closure
  • Prototype and validate workflows that simplify operational complexity for customers
  • Coordinate product work across cloud, UX, hardware, firmware, operations, support, and go-to-market teams

What they are asking for

  • Product experience shipping software for fleet, logistics, mobility, or similarly complex operational environments
  • Comfort working with UX design, wireframes, data models, and API-driven systems
  • Technical fluency across autonomy, firmware, and cloud engineering teams
  • Curiosity and empathy for users managing real-world operational complexity

Why this one is worth a look

Fleet UX is one of the less flashy but more consequential parts of robotics. A drone fleet is only useful if teams can keep aircraft healthy, diagnose problems quickly, and trust the service loop. This role sits in that operational layer.
