Senior Product Manager, Perception and World Understanding Skills

Lead Digit's perception and learned-capability roadmap, from customer workflows through production readiness metrics.

What the role actually is

Agility Robotics is hiring a senior product manager for Digit's perception, world understanding, and learned robot capabilities. The role turns warehouse and manufacturing workflows into product requirements for what the humanoid needs to perceive, understand, evaluate, and safely deploy.

This is a technical product role, not a generic roadmap job. The person would work with perception, ML, autonomy, simulation, and field teams to decide what capabilities matter, how progress is measured, and when a capability is mature enough for production use.

What you would work on

  • Own the roadmap for perception-enabled and learned capabilities across Digit's application portfolio
  • Translate customer tasks into requirements for scene understanding, object understanding, adaptation, motion planning, and learned behaviors
  • Define product-level metrics for accuracy, robustness, latency, generalization, failure behavior, and operational performance
  • Coordinate dependencies across robot software, task skills, simulation, infrastructure, hardware, and deployment systems
  • Shape longer-term robot intelligence strategy around reusable capabilities, not only one-off task implementations

What they are asking for

  • Product leadership experience in robotics, autonomous systems, AI/ML, computer vision, or another deeply technical product area
  • Strong working knowledge of machine learning, perception, robotics, autonomy, or related technical domains
  • Experience translating ambiguous customer needs into measurable technical capability requirements
  • Comfort working with engineering and research teams on evaluation frameworks, benchmarks, and production-readiness tradeoffs

Why this one is worth a look

This is one of the cleaner product roles for someone who wants to work on the behavior layer of humanoid robotics. Agility is asking for a PM who can connect customer value to perception and learned capabilities, which is exactly where deployed humanoids either become useful products or stay impressive demos.
