System Designer

What the role actually is

Applied Intuition is hiring a system designer for the shared interaction frameworks, information architecture, and design system behind its product portfolio. The work is less about one screen and more about making complex autonomy tooling feel coherent across products, engineers, AI coding tools, and customer workflows.

The role sits inside the design team and is expected to connect design language, code-based standards, accessibility, and reusable implementation patterns.

What you would work on

• Define a platform-level design language across Applied's autonomy and physical AI products
• Build design-system assets that can scale across tools rather than a single application
• Create implementation guidance for engineers and AI coding tools
• Establish accessibility standards and reusable interaction patterns

What they are asking for

• Experience designing systems for complex, technical, or multi-surface products
• Strong interaction design, information architecture, and component-system judgment
• Comfort working closely with engineers on code-aware design standards
• Ability to make abstract platform rules practical for product teams
