Technical Program Manager, Architectural Elements

What the role actually is

Dexterity is hiring a technical program manager for its Architectural Elements group. The group works on new hardware discovery, sourcing, specification, and design across manipulators, mobility, perception, compute, electromechanical systems, and electronics.

This is not a generic coordination job. The TPM is expected to shape the processes that keep Dexterity's hardware design pipeline moving and make day-to-day engineering decisions that affect new robotic systems used in warehouse automation products.

What you would work on

• Establish and improve program processes for new robot hardware development
• Track schedules, deliverables, design quality, and project risks across the Architectural Elements group
• Coordinate hardware work with vendors, supply chain, product organizations, and engineering stakeholders
• Support development across manipulators, mobility systems, perception hardware, compute, electronics, and electromechanical components

What they are asking for

• Program management experience with complex hardware or hardware/software systems
• Familiarity with hardware design lifecycles, reliability work, test phases, supply chain quality, and BOM management
• Technical understanding across mechanical, electrical, perception, compute, AGV/AMR, or related automation systems
• Ability to communicate across engineering teams, vendors, contractors, and product stakeholders

Why this one is worth a look

Dexterity builds warehouse robots that have to manipulate real goods in production. This role is worth watching because it sits upstream of the product experience: the hardware platform choices that decide what the robot can reliably do before any workflow or interface is layered on top.
