Technical Program Manager, Mission Autonomy

Lead integration programs that bring Shield AI's Hivemind autonomy stack onto next-generation aircraft platforms.

What the role actually is

Shield AI is hiring a TPM for mission autonomy inside its aircraft work. The role leads integration of the Hivemind autonomy stack onto next-generation aircraft platforms from concept through production and operational deployment.

This is a hardware/software integration program role. The person would be a coordination point between aircraft engineering, autonomy software teams, and operational stakeholders.

What you would work on

  • Lead aircraft and autonomy integration programs for Hivemind-equipped platforms
  • Coordinate hardware, autonomy software, and operational teams through the product lifecycle
  • Track schedule, cost, technical performance, integration readiness, and operational outcomes
  • Keep distributed teams aligned across aircraft and autonomy development

What they are asking for

  • Technical program management experience with complex hardware/software integration
  • Comfort coordinating autonomy software and aircraft engineering work
  • Strong planning discipline around schedule, cost, technical risk, and readiness
  • Ability to work with distributed teams across multiple U.S. sites

Why this one is worth a look

This role is close to the point where autonomy stops being a lab stack and becomes an aircraft program. It is a fit for someone who wants mission autonomy work with hard integration, schedule, and deployment constraints.
