Product Marketing Manager, Defense

Lead defense product marketing for Applied Intuition's autonomy, simulation, and physical AI products.

What the role actually is

Applied Intuition is hiring a product marketing manager to own how its defense work is positioned, launched, and understood by the market. The role partners closely with product management and owns messaging, sales enablement, launch programs, and the defense marketing calendar.

This is a marketing role for a technical buyer. The work is about translating autonomy, simulation, and AI-driven product categories into narratives that program offices and senior defense decision-makers can evaluate.

What you would work on

  • Lead defense marketing strategy across market insights, customer priorities, and product knowledge
  • Define positioning, naming, messaging, and launch plans for new defense capabilities
  • Build sales enablement that supports the defense pipeline
  • Manage marketing objectives, quarterly budgets, and the annual defense marketing calendar
  • Guide campaign, video, blog, press, social, and event content for defense audiences

What they are asking for

  • Product marketing experience in software technology, including defense exposure
  • Ability to translate complex technical ideas into clear product narratives
  • Strong project management across multiple workstreams
  • Creative judgment for product, brand, and content development
  • US citizenship for access to controlled information

Why this one is worth a look

The role sits at the gap between technical autonomy capability and defense adoption. For marketers, that is a serious storytelling challenge: make a complex physical AI platform legible without flattening the hard operational realities that make the category matter.
