Staff Technical Program Manager - Autonomy

Lead program execution for Serve's autonomy work across model development, data infrastructure, simulation, mapping, and roadmaps.

What the role actually is

Serve Robotics is hiring a staff TPM for autonomy. The role covers planning and coordination for autonomy model development, data infrastructure, simulation, machine learning, mapping, and process development.

This is a technical program role at the center of the robot's decision-making stack. The person would work with engineering, product managers, operations, and business stakeholders to keep autonomy roadmaps coherent.

What you would work on

  • Define scope, timelines, milestones, resources, and risk plans for autonomy programs
  • Coordinate model development, data infrastructure, simulation, machine learning, and mapping work
  • Gather requirements and align priorities across engineering, product, operations, and business teams
  • Improve workflows and communication around autonomy roadmap execution

What they are asking for

  • Staff-level program management experience with autonomy, robotics, ML, or complex software systems
  • Ability to lead cross-functional technical projects with many dependencies
  • Strong communication with engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders
  • Comfort building processes that make autonomy development more predictable

Why this one is worth a look

Serve's autonomy work is tied to a fleet already operating in city environments. That makes this role a good fit for someone who wants to manage ML and simulation programs that have to survive contact with messy streets, pedestrians, merchants, and operations teams.
