Sr. Technical Program Manager, Hardware/Software Integration

Coordinate Serve's robot feature, upgrade, manufacturing-test, and deployment programs across hardware and software teams.

What the role actually is

Serve Robotics is hiring a senior TPM for hardware/software integration across its sidewalk delivery robot program. The role sits between mechanical, electrical, embedded, systems, manufacturing, operations, product, and business teams.

The work is about keeping robot upgrades, feature development, manufacturing test, and deployment efforts moving together. It is program management for a fleet product where hardware handoffs, software readiness, and public-space operations all affect the customer experience.

What you would work on

  • Define scope, timelines, milestones, resources, and risks for robot hardware and software projects
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery across engineering, product, operations, manufacturing, and business stakeholders
  • Improve workflows for robot upgrades, product development, sprint planning, and status communication
  • Create project plans, roadmaps, documentation, and technical specifications that keep teams aligned

What they are asking for

  • Technical program or engineering program management experience with hardware, systems, or autonomous systems
  • Ability to translate technical tradeoffs for both technical and non-technical partners
  • Track record shipping complex cross-functional product features in production environments
  • Robotics or autonomous systems experience, especially in public-space products, is a plus

Why this one is worth a look

Serve's robots operate in busy city environments, so integration work is not just internal coordination. The interesting part is turning hardware, software, manufacturing, and deployment dependencies into a product cadence that can support a real fleet.
